Days Lane Baptist youth club is a fun and welcoming environment with a Christian influence. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for young people and their friends to have fun, socialize, interact and relax, with the opportunity to make new friends, without the social pressures of smoking, drinking, drugs and things of a sexual nature. The evening begins at 7:15 p.m. where youth will turn up with their weekly sub of £1 which goes towards snacks, soft drinks and activity equipment.
The youth are also free to get out whatever equipment / activity they want, other nights may have a special organised activity. General activities include craft, board games, table tennis, darts and badminton etc. Occasional trips are also arranged. At 9p.m. the evening ends with a short bible study. Youth then help clear up at 9:30p.m. before going home. The age range for joining is between 11 years and 18 years, on reaching 18 years, regular attendees may continue on until the age of 25 years. After which they are given the opportunity to become a leader if they wish.
